Hello there from the philippines.

I joined this group to learn how to smoke meat and fish.  As a filipino, I love barbecues, eating it and working the grill. smoking is a new to me and would like to try my hands on it.  A friend of mine gave me his old DIY smoker as he have upgraded to a bigger DIY smoker. smoking chips are available here, so I'll give it a shot.  hopefully my previous grilling skills that I have acquired previously could be put into good use.  planning to teach my sister about this as she could get some hickory and apple wood smoking chips.  planning to work on pork belly and chicken for x'mas and new years.

wish me luck and thank you in advance.
