My first smoker is a Brinkmann Smoke'n Pit King Smoker. I paid $10 at a garage sale for it, replaced the grates (3), both bowls, cleaned and seasoned the interior yesterday (burned charcoal to finish the season). I'm in the process of smoking my first two butts. Brined for 10 hours and rub this morning allowing to rest for one hour before starting the smoke. One butt weighs about 11 pounds the other about 8.
