Hello all, my name is Tim, in Lawrence, Kansas about 30 miles west of Kansas City. Been lurking here on the forum for a while, figured it was time to get on here. I recently purchased a Masterbuilt XL gas smoker, and did my first smoke on it saturday. Did up some trimmed spareribs and a 7 pound bone in turkey breast, all turned out great, sorry no Q-view this time, will try to get some pics up on the next smoke. Have been amazed by the amount of info in the forums, helped me to decide on the Masterbuilt XL and mods. (rope gasket on door and replacing chip pan with upside down grilling wok and using stock water pan for chip pan) Looking forward to continued fun and invaluable information on smoking meat. Thanks.
