I bought a Brinkmann Smoke King Deluxe last winter. It was the floor display model and I got a pretty good deal on it. I also have a Brinkmann bullet type smoker that a friend gave me that's been sitting in my shop for a couple of years. I've worked in a meat processing plant the last 9 years during the ND deer season but mostly as a boner and a little in the sausage mixing area. Not much experience in the smoking part outside of loading and unloading the racks! Decided to try and do my own smoking or at least some of it. The sight seems to be full of all kinds of info that I'll be able to use. Have bought a couple of books as well. Look forward to chatting and posting with all of you!

Welcome Opie,
There's great information here. You should start with Jeff's free 5 day course. It's a great start! There is a ton of fabulous information here and people ready and willing to help.
