Good morning from Alabama. New to the site as of this morning. I have not smoked anything in over two years nor made any sauces. In 2005 we opened a bbq place. We had ZERO restaurant experience. Got it up and running and self sufficient in two years. Then a huge family problem blew it apart. About three years later I reopened just a drive through and ran it by myself for about three months then brought my wife on board. Once again about 2/12 years in a family illness shut me down. I've had no desire for bbq or smoking since. Well I finally sold my smoker about 4 months ago and now I'm wanting to play around with food again go figure. I'm looking at small electric smokers but they are just a little too small. Thinking about building my own. I'm one of those people who think they can build or do what ever I set out to do. But I'm a perfectionist and get aggravated because it could've been done better. Ugh! Anyway anyone that has built a smoker out of an old fridge or oven would love to pick your brain and photos.
