I have great results and a load of charcoal lasts 14 plus hours as is at 225 to 250.. but I want to make a base like that and add a mailbox mod to it.. intake hole 3 inches ?

My question is... Will the air intake from the mailbox circulation be enough air to keep some charcoal going also? I have one damper on top of the ECB and I'm thinking I may need to add another to flow the exhaust from the mailbox mod and the charcoal

Also.. Will a single air intake in the base stall the mailbox flow of smoke? Or aid in drawing it into the ECB?
