Hello everyone! My name is Laiken (I'm a guy) and I'm from Texarkana, Tx. I am 22 years old and have been smoking for a couple years now. I have just recently started building and fabbing myself a new smoker and I can't wait to get it built and put to use! I will start a new thread on the build for anyone that is interested!

swanger,
Welcome, from southern Ohio, to the best forum on the internet if you are looking to learn how to BBQ/smoke/brine/cure/inject. Well you get the picture if you can do it to to something you put on a plate to eat then someone here has probably done it. Use the search bar at the top of the page and you will be led to the answer to most every question you can think of. If you don't find the answer there then just post it and someone will chime in with there opinion on the subject.
You may want to post your plans for your smoker in the smoker build section. If I were to build one that is what I would do before I even made the first cut! There are proven formulas that will ensure your smoker will work correctly. There are alot of experanced builders there who are more than willing to help you with your design so that your finished smoker will turn out as a great controlable work of BBQ art.
