Man guys, the outpouring of support really hits my heart!! I get choked up just reading all your posts. There just arent words I can find to thank you enough.

latest update is: a big pause. One of the tumors is between her liver and kidney and a special surgeon is needed to get that one out. So to coordinate the MDA doc and the specialist to be in the same surgical session together might take 4 weeks. Which is upsetting, we tried another facility and got the same timeline. Chemo will still follow back here in Colorado.

It saddens me to hear this news. Hoping your daughter gets good care and can get some relief. She and your family will be in my thoughts. Hoping for the best for everyone.

Some will recall a thread I posted last year about a bunch of life challenges hitting our family in short order...most have settled, one has not.

My younger daughter had two cancerous tumors removed over the course of a few months last year. She got radiation, then during follow up scans they found the cancer had metastasized to numerous locations within her abdomen. That was late last week. Today she is on the road to MD Anderson for what we hope will be an invasive surgery and chemo. the current diagnosis has high mortality. Like less than a year. the procedure we are hoping she can get ups that to a few years. She is 36 and has a 10 month old.

I cant travel due to my broken leg. My wife cant travel because of me...we have dogs and I cant walk. Other friends and family will be rotating down to help with support and baby care. My wife took my place today to take my mom to eye surgery.

We are trying to stay positive. But its a struggle some days. Please send prayers! Every little bit helps. Thank you in advance.
Thoughts and Prayers to you and your Ohana!

Well that news sucks seems sometimes they just have to extend the pain and agony. I will continue to hope and pray for as good of an outcome as is possible.

My prayers are with all of you: may the Lord grant healing to your daughter most of all! May he grant all y'all the strength to face all of this, may he guide the doctors' hands in her care, and may he grant y'all comfort and peace.
Amen! Bless you?

Latest update is good news! Surgery was last week, removed several tumors and had a full hysterectomy as planned. Surgeon said it was a 10/10. Chemo starts pretty soon with 5 week long treatments over 6 weeks. the surgical team was very optimistic which was a boost for us all.

We greatly appreciate all the love, support and prayers. So many good people here.

F**K CANCER!

That is great Dave, and like I and others have mentioned.
Keep chin up, the Dr's are doing their part. And lets hope the Chemo does what it is suppose to do.

You guys need some great news , and this is a start.

David
AMEN to all that! thank you!

I just saw this thread. I lost my mother to cancer in 99, I've had two very mild bouts with skin cancer, MOHS surgery next month, but nothing compared to what y'all have been dealing with. Nevertheless, I believe in the all-sufficient grace of God, even in the inexplicable difficulties of the world and the time we live in, and will be much in prayer for your family. The promise I hold onto and try to live up to daily is Proverbs 3:5-6.
