I haven't posted anything at all in years... but I also haven't forgotten all you wonderful smokers :emoji_blush:

I did some reading to learn a long time member(s), and the ultimate Prime Rib mentor passed on... sad :emoji_disappointed:
I've had my own season of grief, but times are better in my life now.

I just got married! We're having a big reception in a couple of weeks and I am going to do pulled pork to feed the masses.

Thought I would warm up the smoker with a couple of baby back racks... with Jeff's naked rub (can't be beat), MES 40, and the mailbox mod, with the amazin tray... going 3-2-1, and pretty fool proof. :emoji_ok_hand:

Starting out just fine, and will keep you updated - Happy Saturday from Big Sky Country Montana

Thanks Ray, dang... you got me going. That's my good ol' boy Bear dog, best Border Collie ever!
I miss him every day ; )... he used to hold those rahide chew sticks like he was smoking a cigar, funny as hell.

Welcome back John, so good to see you posting. You had crossed my mind a few times over the years and hoped you were doing well.

We have lost a few great members lately… and while sad for sure… the best way to keep them with us is to follow and post what they taught us.

Again, great to see you posting and that sure will be some tasty ribs.

Nice looking ribs. You must have disappeared for a number of years. I still consider myself a newbie and don't recall your posts.

Dogs are the most forgiving animal. My wife's cat loved and hated me the most in the house.
Grew up with a Springer Spaniel. I used to torture him by making him hold a sausage in his mouth as the old cigar. Drool on the floor was a puddle. When the sausage was eaten he licked up the drool.

Looks like a great cook . Glad you decided to post it up . Need that variety around here in my opinion .
Bear dog, best Border Collie ever!
One of the smartests breeds I've been around .
All these years I've thought you had an Australian Cattle dog because of your screen name .
Lottie is going on 13 . Sadly her days are close to over .
Smartest dog I've ever had .
