Making my own barbecue sauce

After giving it some thought, I've decided to make my own barbecue sauce. Should be a fun project.

I have a couple of old family recipes but have not tried them....yet.
I do mix a couple of store-bought brands together for comps.
Need updates and results.

I have made a Chipotle with Adobo BBQ sauce a few times...well worth the effort. I say go for it and post up!

I have a number of recipes for BBQ sauce. THe fun is tweaking the seasonings to your taste.

Equal parts whiskey, brown sugar, red wine vinegar and chili sauce (or ketchup if need be) Season to YOUR taste

I enjoy making my own sauce sometimes. I usually start with Bill’s BDSE recipe then modify from there.

Made the first batch three days ago. It's good, but version 2 will be better.

I enjoy making my own bbq sauce. I have a go to recipe that I use so I always have some bbq sauce but I do want to branch out and make different bbq sauces.
