I recently purchased a used Bradley Smoker and quickly decided I wanted to make my own Bisquettes. I did this for couple of reasons; cost, alternate wood types and it's a lot of fun to make them.

Searching the internet, I found a variety of different recipes to make and form pucks for the Bradley smoker. Although most the recipes are similar, the forming molds were all over the map. Some molds were overly complicated and expensive while others were under engineered and could be made a lot better. My mold is 3D printed and produces pucks the same size and shape as OEM Bradley pucks.

I realize 3D printing is not for everyone, so a quick search of the internet will yield all sorts of Bradley puck molds that can be made with typical garage tools.

For those that do 3D print....these are links to my mold design print files

This is my Bradley Bisquettes or puck making process (in pictures).
I attached a PDF with the recipes and other process details.

Great thread. How do the home made perform compared to the original Bradley pucks?
I may make a steel 3 puck mold to use in the hydraulic press.

The pucks burn real nice, just a little faster then an original. The DIY pucks burn more completely, where the oem pucks tend to have a lot of waste.

Bradley claims the partial burn and dunking them in water prevents acrid smoke....I'm not sure what to think about that.
