I bought a Ryobi 600-E back in 1992 . 3 1/2 HP plunge . It sits in a table . The Bosch palm is a great tool . My others are vintage Craftsman 1/4 " 1 1/2 hp .

This new Bosch has the features of the Ryobi plus a changeable base .
$152 is a great price for that .

I have a antique craftsman in the garage somewhere! The skil 2.5 HP I have works great. And has both bases. Just for the hell of it. I bought a little 1 hp trim router from Temu. No bells or whistles by any means. I have it set up for rounding over the board edges. And it does that very well. 30.00 investment.

Take a breath . Do NOT toss that . Just walk away . Come back to it later .

I have one going right now . Tried my best to ruin it yesterday , then fixed it , and I'll be damned 2 bad cuts this morning on a finger grab made me turn off the light and walk away .

Yup . Nothin wrong with that .
Steve , run the edge , put a juice groove in it , and oil it up . That will bring it to life for sure .
I'll do that. And add the finish to see how she looks. I still haven't gotten around to get a jig for juice grooves yet.

Don't be . I'm currently making a plan . 12 oz. at a time .
Ended up with a bad margin on the one end . Had to cut it off , and remake another 2 sections , and glue that back on .

Then I had a bad router moment on the bottom . I'll fix it tomorrow when no one else is home .
Remember it's not F'd up if you can fix it .

Skip the juice groove for now . run the edge and oil it . I'll pop and start to grow on ya .
