Being one of those statistic of long time unemployed, I have too much TV time. I still confine my time to about 3 hours about 4 days a week, but thanks to the DVR I can record the shows and save 20 minutes per hour, thus watch 4 hours of TV in 3 hours.
Glen Beck (I'm a new fan since mid june, take him or leave him, if you miss this show, you are missing serious political questions of the day, which other networks just are not covering.)
Bill O'Reilly (Use to be better, he has toned down some and is not as good.)

I love talent shows seeing fresh new talent, I feel these people are really putting it on the line, and while some of it is cheesy their performance are not, and what you get is a lot of art and some not so artful performances.

Dancing with the Stars
So You think you can dance.
Re. the dancing shows, my wife and I on and off took ballroom dance lessons, and use to go to community dances, and other dance venues, thus Dancing with the Stars is a favorite. So You think you can dance, is a show that is really trying to deliver dance as art, I can't stand all the hip hop (i.e. breaking, locking, popping, etc), I can appreciate people who are naturally dance talented who start in those genres and end up performing fantastic contemporary dance routines with coaches and tons of practice.
Shows I watch with my wife, can take or leave em.
Top Chef
The Closer

Fox News "Greta" (I couldn't stand her muckraking over big murder stories, but now she is delivering hard political news and I liker her.)
