Summer Sauage and Freezing

We cut ours into 1 lb. size chunks, vacuum seal with a FoodSaver and freeze for a year or so. Summer Sausage freezes and thaws very well to tasting as fresh as the day after you made it.
 
I agree with Mossy Mo we vacuum seal either whole chubs or half chubs and once defrosted its tastes as good as it did when it was fresh. I've not gone over about a  year seems it never lasts longer than that before its all gone
