Morning all! I haven't posted anything in a bit. So I figured I'd better change that. No build pics. But I did this rib eye by cold smoking for a hour. Then finishing in a CI pan. Added a baked tater with sour cream and bacon. It came out fantastic!

simple is sometimes the best taste, wife said last night she would like a big steak and tater now I showed her yours, I see 1 in my future lol

It looks good Steve and I agree simple seasonings on steak is my norm salt pepper garlic powder and I'm good to go

Nice Steve falling back to the old CI can be amazing meal still. Just did some burgers and onions that way. Was to cold and windy outside for the Webber.

A man after my own heart Steve, all a good ribeye needs is a little S&P before going on the grill, big Like! RAY

Wow Steve, I'll take a plate of that please. Matter of fact, I did :emoji_laughing: Tracy was out last night so my bachelor dinner was a rib eye also, seasoned the same way you did and it was excellent. I cooked mine on the grill but I don't live in a climate where it's 40 below this time of year :emoji_wink:

Steak looks great. Interesting as I cooked ribeyes on the grill last night, as well. I usually sear in a cast iron skillet with bacon grease, but opted for the Weber kettle instead. Salt and pepper is all I ever use on my steak.
