Smoked a top round today for some sandwiches tomorrow. Used Killer Hoggs AP rub and lumberjack hickory pellets on my camp chef at 250. Took it a little higher than I wanted to (140ish) but it came out tasty. The killer hoggs rub surprised me, I thought it would be too salty but wow what a taste. First time I ever smoked a roast beef for sandwiches. My uncle made them at a football tailgate for the eagles during the NFC championship game a couple of years ago on his Kamodo with mesquite and it was the best sandwich I ever had!
