I picked up a new four channel temp probe rig to go with my new stickburner.
Had no idea which brand to choose but I like the looks of this one so I bought it!
Not too scientific I know.
First cook was 12 hours and it worked fine and I was able to maintain connecction with the remote the whole time without a single signal loss episode, which my cheapo Mavericks could never achieve.
The data drift is acceptable and stayed the same before and after the 12 hour cook, some of which was hotish and fastish.
I am enamored with the probe/cable storage reels, no more cable wrangling!
Anywho, it gets my vote.
Cost $80 from Amazon FWIW.

I bought a similar ThermoPro recently also. Will try it tonight for the first time. I've always been impressed by there different products. Can't always say the same for other brands.

cable reels are a score! My inkbirds are a CF to manage.

Very nice. Did those storage reels come with it?
They did, you can see them nested on the left and right on either side of the main units.
If I had a complaint, it would be that the "tray" is recycled cardboard and it can't possibly last as long as I intend to keep using it.
Everything fits so well and keeps it all orderly I'm know I'm going to miss it when it falls apart.
But then again, it may be a genius move on their part, I'll probably buy another when the case falls apart.
