Scott from Tennessee here and I am a longtime Green Egg owner as well as a Fire Magic gas griller.  As an asst. scoutmaster, I do a fair amount over wood coals, dutch ovens, swinging grill grates and such.

My initial reason for joining is fueled by my new interest in sausage making after a trip to Germany this summer.  The sausages and beer over there was to die for.  Luckily the craft beer available in the area allows me to focus my efforts on sausage making.

Was 6 years in Germany and had the chance to travel a bunch. Austria and the Bavarian region.. being in the military stationed in central Germany was a great cultural event that shaped my food knowledge and path.. I know what your thinking.. lol .. wish you luck in your pursuits of the tastes and flavors you strive to hold on to from your travels..

:welcome: have fun and keep it alive!
