My daughter got a hankering for a Juicy Lucy for lunch. Thawed some ground beef and a bit of ground venison, mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and a new KC sauce called "Marinade -- Buffalo." Had the new sauce on some wings at a friend's house last week, and he gave me a bottle to try.
The chewy, gooey center was sliced button mushrooms and smoked pepper jack cheese. We assembled three while my wife ran out to get appropriate delivery devices (buns). About 70-80 minutes in the smoker at 250* until the lucy's hit 160* and we were all over it.
All I took the time to get was the money shot with my phone while chowing down:
Really tasty buggers, they were! Thanks for looking!
