A family member recently gave me his 40" MES gen 1. Searches on that topic lead me here. It needs some TLC, but I'm excited to use it with my new AMNPS. The mailbox mod looks like a great solution.

A friend just gave me a six rack digital bradley. We sure smoked a lot of meat in that smoker. Maybe not quite a *ton* but getting there. It had been the victim of some neglect (lack of cleaning), and that caused a small fire. We were lucky to catch it when we did. After quite a bit of work, and a new door seal, it is back in action. The friend now has an MES 40. I ordered an AMNPS for him when I got mine. He's a little skeptical.

As much as I enjoy it, I haven't been able to find much time recently to use my reverse flow offset box modified New Bruanfels.
