So I had plans of smoking a brisket packer and a boston butt this weekend but mother nature had other plans. It has been raining and windy the last two days and I won't be able to smoke. I already had the butt and brisket rubbed and wrapped in the fridge. I was able to vacu save the butt and its in the freezer but my brisket is too big. How should I go about freezing it ?

Just wrap it up good.

That's about your best and only good option.
Wrap it good enough (at least twice in plastic wrap) then I would also wrap it in foil.

I would double wrap it in plastic wrap then wrap it in butcher paper. It should freeze good that way. That is how I wrap everything that is slated for the freezer. You could also cut the briskey in half, if that would help to fit it in the vacusaver.

Check your local grocery store or general goods store. I can buy up to 20 gal. ziploc bags at mine. Wrap it up in plastic & foil, then toss in a big ziploc?
