It was time to replace my Weber kettle and cheap tiny vertical smoker. After a lot of research on here and pricing I figured I was looking at a new Weber master touch and a a big wsm. When my wife and I went to a local store She spotted all the pellet grills and asked if one of those would be able to replace the two I was looking at. I have 0 experience with pellets and told her I could do some more reading and figure it out. Although the all the pellets we looked at (Weber trager green mountain) would almost double the cost I got the go ahead to find something that could meet our needs.
Long story short I have ordered a Rec tec 700 which should be delivered on Monday. I chose the Rec tec for ease of use, my wife always has a rough time with charcoal.

Thank you all....it’s one of the reasons I chose it. It’s so hard to find anyone that says anything negative about it. Was going to write more in my hello but I guess I now know the character limit.
