Ground jerky with mango.

Hi,
I am venturing out and wanting to make my own ground beef jerky flavors. I have been using Hi Mountain and Nesco seasoning mixes.
Is it safe to use fresh mango and habenero peppers pureed in ground beef jerky?
I use 93/7 ground beef.
I'm thinking it may add too much moisture and maybe even spoil in the mix down the road.
Looking for ideas.

I may be wrong by I'm pretty sure it's ok to put the mango and Habs in there.
