OK, I finally managed to have my camera handy while doing some Q. I made a dinner fattie that I have made before and has been a big hit in the past. It is half ground beef and half ground pork instead of sausage, as the sausage I find can be a little rich if it is the main meal. I do like sausage fatties, but trying new things.
Inside the fattie is a layer of peach mango salsa. I would not eat this stuff normally as salsa in my opinion should be spicy, not sweet, but it is good for cooking. Also put some caramelized onions and some cheddar cheese inside.
For the ABT's the store I went to only had 10 jalapenos left, so I decided to experiment a bit with some poblano peppers, some little red ones not sure of the type, and some other green ones. The little red ones were incredible, lot of flavor and some good spice. The poblano were very sweet and smoky. The other green ones were not great. The jalapenos were good as always, and nice an spicy.
Anyway, this fed three of us with some left overs, and it turned out really well. Pics are below.
