Smoked some beef ribs and a rump roast.

6.5 Lbs rump roast

4 Racks of ribs

Even smoked some bones for my "helper".

Roast injected w/ italian dressing & rubbed w/ Jeff's Rub

In the vertical gas

I save the water that I rinse my hand with after applying the rub for the water pan. Don't know if it adds anything, but better than just going down the drain.

Smoked the roast @ 225 till it hit 150 then wrapped & rested.

Smoked the ribs, dog's bones, and a rack of pork ribs rubbed w/ jeffs rub in the offset at 250 for 5 hours.

Ribs getting cut up

Nothing fancy - not ready to start messin with things, in fear of wrecking somethin.

The roast and the pork ribs were smoked for my aunt to take to a cookout, so didn't get pix of those cut up. She came back with lots of complements, so I guess they came out good.

Beef ribs were great and my "helper" was thrilled with his Q!

Thinking of doing up some fatties tonight - post those if they get done.
Thanx for looking and I'll be waiting on replies and suggestions.

Not much I would add, but for those that know me...........MOJO Crillio.

Try marinading the beef ribs in mojo, a spanish marinade. You may have to look in the ethnic isle at the store, but it sure is good on beef, pork too.

Did you wrap the ribs ala 3-2-1?

Want to try mojo, heard of it here(even got a recipe for it) - but picked up the ribs that morning and had no time for marinading.

Ribs were kinda fatty(sorry no pic) so I just smoked straight through spraying with a apple juice + brown sugar mixture every hour.

Think they would have been too greasy if wrapped. they came out really good. Have wrapped before when the ribs were a bit leaner.

Thanx for the input

Thanks for all the kind words. Really starting to get into this smoking addiction. I kinda took over one of our buildings and setup a small "kitchen" in it - two smokers, grill, fridge, 3 picnic tables, microwave, crockpot, and a Backyard Gear bbqworkstation. Need to find a stand alone "pantry". It was built to be a repair shop, but.......

As for the tractor, we sorta collect Farmalls. Getting up around 60 all together.

BBQGODDESS - Diesel is pretty much healed up. Tough dog. Worse part was keepin him out of the pond while he had stitches (loves that pond).
Right back out there hunting for varmin.

Thanx again.
