Just had a cord of seasoned pecan wood delivered and stacked now I can throw this crappy hickory away and get back to some real smoking.

Sure wish we grew pecan up here! I costs a small fortune to buy it by the bag and mail it! I really like pecan and apple.

pecan is good. i like mesquite the most though.

marvin, i wish i knew someone that would use that hickory. i tried some hickory once, and didn't really like it. i can't give away the hickory that guy at work has (free, seasoned wood. you have to cut it up and haul it off yourself).

My daughter loves hickory, she even said she doesn't want me to use that

wimpy apple wood anymore. If I was closer I'd take it off your hands.
