Another Pastrami cook

I did two whole corned packers a few weeks ago and gave a lot out to friends and family. They went bonkers over it and begged for more lol. These whole corned packers from GFS come out ridiculously juicy and tender. Finished the meal off with a big batch of my steakhouse style loaded fauxtato salad. Salad is steamed and chilled tender cauliflower with bacon, red onion, shredded sharp cheddar and a sauce of Dukes, sour cream, lemon, garlic and S&P. Just packed up some meals for my wife’s office. Sandwiches are toasted 1 net Carb aunt Millies bread, 1/4” slices of pastrami, creamy dill havarti , fried cabbage and a homemade “special sauce”. Served up with the salad and a pickle. The whole office is keto including the doctor so they will love it lol. Here’s some pics.

That ‘strami looks awesome! Also I’m so going to use and exploit your salad creation for my own indulgence and hope to impress my friends and neighbors with it in the near future. Great job!

That looks great Jeff ! Nice and juicy! That salad is something I'll try out for sure. Ive been buying that bread too ...its really good! I like the 5 seed!

The pastrami looks amazing Jeff!! I'm still up for that trade I mentioned when you did the last batch :emoji_wink: Excellent job my friend. those lunches look astounding too!! Some folks at your wife's office are gonna be eating really well...better than any carry-out they could get that's for sure. Very nice gesture on your part buddy.

Very nice. We picked up 4 corned points. One went in the pot with Cabbage and the rest...HORRIBLE! Simmered 2 1/2 hours until probe tender. The first slice out of the pot was tasty but on the plate, Dry and stringy. It was weird, the texture was like a pan of meat that was in a low oven ,uncovered, for a few hours...Hospital Food.
The rest will be Pastrami and hopefully better...JJ
 
That pastrami is pure food porn Jeff! I love the fact that you could cut it with a spoon.

That’s a great gesture that I’m sure the whole office loved!!
 
Dang, they need another nurse to work in the office? I'd even go Keto if thats what it took to get a plate of that!
