Cooked up some seafood Sunday. Started with 2 rounds of crab. This was the best I have had in a long time. I had quit buying as it was getting to $$ and last couple time not very good. They had a one time use coupon for $5.99 so I got some. I sure wish I would of bought more now. Just did a quick steam.

Next some Octopus. This was some frozen cooked. I basted with a mix of lemon, oil and garlic. Came out very tender but had a weird taste I just could not get past. Only made it through half before throwing out and I do like Octopus.

Finished with some scallops. Now these where good. Had some crab salad with it. I have been using my carbon steel pans Civil recommended years ago lately. I am really liking them again.

Had some mussels on deck but I was full at this point. I might have to go back to Albertson and pay full price for some more snow crab. Best in years.

Brian, we LOVE seafood around here and I especially love octopus, but it's hard to find. There's nothing you cooked that I wouldn't dive into...EXCELLENT!

That's one fine looking cook Brian, the scallops look to die for. I just scored a couple of bags at Safeway (Albertson's) yesterday, I'll do pan-seared tonight. I paid $11 a pound on sale, about double what I'm ever willing to spend on beef. RAY

I'll pass on the octo but the scallops and crab look great.

Point for sure
Chris

I got the small ones from Aldi pretty reasonable. They where as good as the big ones from Sam's. I heading back to Albertson this morning for more crab. I will pay full price for crab that good. Still just $8.99 lb on sale.

Man that all looks great! I love all three items but would really love the octopus. I've thought about ordering some from Wildfork a few times.

Looks great! Nice sear on the scallops. Love crab! I want to try octopus, I even know the restaurant I’m going to get it at as I know they’ll do it right.
