Gotta see the pic! I've always wanted to try wild pig pulled pork. How'd it taste and was it worth it? I'm sure it was. I'm sure it had some gamey flavor to it that's ok in my book!
I put in cooler for 7 days before putting in freezer,to get some of the game flavor out.
After smoked & pulled? In your fridge? Just curious. Thanks!!
After I shot field dressed it left in cooler on ice 7 days changing ice every other day then put in freezer1-2 months later I smoked them and made pulled pork ,I also used Tony chacherres Cajun butter as my injection.
I made pulled pork from a shoulder a friend shot - tasted awesome, but alot drier than a farm raised pig. Next time brining will not be good enough - I'll inject...
