Where to locate the meat in my smoker

    I have a 4' offset smoker ( Char Broil 1280 ) Where is the best place to put my meat? Should I put it close to the FB, in the middle or at the other end ?

    Put in the pit where you have the most consistent temp. Having a remote therm will allow you to place the probe close to the grate to find out the best spot.
