What Cut Should I Buy?

    I have been tasked with making a salad for a potluck we are going to and decided on one containing Ham. Normally made with just cubing up some sliced sandwich ham, I figured I could jazz it up a bit with some smoked shredded ham instead. My problem now is deciding on the cut to buy. Looking for one that wont be too big but there are just so many cuts out there, that I am not sure what would be best for a nice flavourful shred Any help to be had here will be appreciated. Keeping in mind, with it being sunday, most of my premium butcher selections are limited, so the more widely available the cut, the better.
