this weekend was a good-en for cooking on the deck. theres pork in this thread. friday chicken. one whole 3 breasts boneless. wrapped in bacon. hit with my rub. placed these in the new smoke cube. whole bird over boneless breasts. topped whole one with bacon too. so all juices would run on the boneless ones. abts were shrimp chopped with button mushrooms. minced garlic and cream cheese. topped with bacon. put some zuchinni and gold squash along with mushrooms, onions shrimp, bell pepper, tomatoes on skures. heres the bird on the cube with apple mixed in the coals. abts on the brinkman. bobs on the propane grill. had 3 of my 4 cookers going. awesome. the bird is done. i dont know about the chicken but he sure loves his mac-n-cheese. saturday krogers had whole picnics on sale. $.89 lb. got 2. one went fresh on the brinkman horizontal. smoked with apple and birquets. first the rub. didnt let it go long enough for pulled but it was close. had a good ring and juice poured. sunday had smoked beans on the brinkman. and had grill going for steaks. loved the veggies on friday so this round i smoked them. heres the end. even had sweetcorn with this meal. had no room on the plate. lol.
