Tri tip

  1. 2nd time smoking in the MES 30. Made a tri tip. About 2 hours at 225. Santa Maria style rub. So good!!

    Looks really good! Probably the best way to prepare a try in my opinion.

    As an observation, it looks like it could have rested a little longer.

    That's a good looking tri tip! Hard to find them that nice around here.
  6. Pit, it was foiled and rested for about 30 min. Think it should have been longer? Pulled at 135

  7. Great looking Tip-  Congrats on being able to let it rest 30 minutes- I know from experience that ain't easy.......
