Stolen Smoker- Looking to get a new one- Suggestion

Hey Everyone,

Fairly new to the forums so not 100% sure this is the right area for this post. 

Last week my MES 30" smoker that I got for Christmas this year was stolen out of my garage (total buzzkill) and now I am looking to replace it. I only got to use it 4 times and was pretty happy with how everything turned out. However, I'm not sold that I have to go back to the MES 30" and want to explore my other options. So far I have looked at the Traeger Century from Costco for $699.

Would love your opinions about what else I should be looking at.

Pros Traeger

- Available immediately (Can use it for the Super Bowl on Sunday)

- From Costco so easy to return if anything fails

- I can use it as my main BBQ and Smoker and sell my old cheaper BBQ

Pros MES 30"

- I am used to it

- I have extra parts and racks that they didn't steal.

I'm not a pellet pooper fan. They are decent grills, but lack in the smoke department. I'd buy a 18.5" or 22" WSM (Weber Smokey Mountain). Easy and efficient to use charcoal smoker. Home Depot stocks the 18.5".

I would propose the Death Penalty for anyone caught stealing a Smoker !!!

I ended up going with the GMG Jim Bowie. I really liked the versatility and reviews it got. So far I have done chicken wings that turned out awesome! More cooks to come!!
