Smoking in Georgia.

  1. Hello all. Glad to be here. I live in Columbus, GA, vet currently teaching. I just started using, my avatar, a Smoke Canyon and to date everything that I've smoked has came out perfect! From ribs to leg quarters and especially Boston Butt. So far I've smoked about 40 pounds of butt, my wife does the sauce, and folks can't seem to get enough of it! Tomorrow I'm going to do a whole chicken for the first time which I will post some pictures. Again, glad to be here and looking forward to learning new techniques.

Welcome to the group!  You'll find that this is a great place to share ideas on smoking, grilling, etc.  There are plenty of folks here who genuinely enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.
