I am new to the forum and smoking, as well as propane regulators...
I recently purchased a Landmann 3895 and it has worked well, but I seem to have significant issues with my regulator. The fire on my burner goes out with simple adjustments all the time (i.e. open the chip drawer, water drawer, meat door, or just tweak my Bayou Classic 0-30 psi regulator up or down). Many of the times it is an adjustment of the regulator, so I assume the safety valve is kicking in. I have checked for leaks in my line and no bubbles. I even changed out my Bayou Classic regulator as i thought it was faulty (still struggling). Smoking shoulder today and the fire went out at least 12 times thus far. I was watching the fire through the lower vent a bit ago and noticed the fire swirling and choking (it had been fine for 20 minutes and no adjustments whatsoever, I just noticed the temp going down a bit), so I quickly upped the regulator and it stabilized and has for some time now, but I am running close to 280 which is not ideal for smoking. Frustrated and can't come up with an answer. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks
