An outdoor fireplace with kitchen is one those things I always wanted in my life . We have already spoke with our designers Infinity gardens and got the outdoor kitchen landscape design done. My question is can I use my regular kitchen sink outdoors which we have been using inside? Do I have to get a new one?  The bigger concern is about plumbing. Do we need both hot an d cold water? And how about during winter?
  2. Hello.  Welcome.  I see this is your first post.  Please take some time and swing over to Roll Call and introduce yourself so that we may give you a proper "Hello".  All info you can provide us with such as smoker type, location and so on will help us answer any questions you may have, and pictures help a bunch.  As for your question:  You have given us no details about where you are.  What about winter?  Well if you are in southern Arizona; no problem!   I would go for a porcelain sink but where porcelain or stainless it will always need cleaning before use.  Plumbing:  IF you are gonna do it; do it right!  Hot and cold running water.  Winter?? ( I assume you do not live in southern Arizona ): EASY!  Have te plumber install a cut off where he ties in to the house water supply.  When it gets cold cut off the supply to outdoors and open the faucets.  If you want to make it even better a connection can be installed after the cut off valves which would allow you to then connect a air compressor and blow ALL the water from the outside lines.  Also you have 2 choices with the faucets and fittings: A: remove them and bring them inside or B:  ( my choice ) Cover them well with a good coat of vaseline.  Good heavy coat and do not miss a spot.  Good clean in the spring and you are ready to go.  Keep Smokin!
