Has anyone used Orange Wood ?  I was at Cabelas the other day and found a bag of orange wood chunks , naturally I bought them since I had never seen them before. Is it a light flavor like other fruit woods , what can I expect ?

Yes it's a light smoke flavor.

I have several citrus trees in my yard and use the dead limbs in the smoker & the fire pit.

I have just started smoking and am having a blast. The first meat I smoked was a turkey for Thanksgiving with orange wood and it was awesome.

Works well with chicken or fish. I've been getting orange/grapefruit/mandarin wood for years from a friend's farm. Whenever I get the chance to get to the Central Valley during trimming season(Jan-Feb).

One of those unique, not seen often woods, that gives a subtle, sweet smoke.

Like driedstick said I use it for smoking cheese and it is pretty great.

I got a back of chips at the Meijer by be. They have all the time now.
