Hey everyone. New to site, old to smoking food.

I've smoked in everything from barrels to pellet grills. (I used to sell traegers)

Due to bad health and other life events, I've had to downsize significantly.

My wife just purchased me a Brinkman electric water smoker at a garage sale. Never used one before and would welcome any help. It seems rather simple to use, just need some guidance.

Welcome to the group. Sorry to hear about the health issues been there myself. A man still has to eat thou and if you are like me and have to watch salt intake but still love flavor might as well smoke it up. I came up with my own rub less salt or no salt but other things added to make it so no one complains. Well at least my family likes everything I've used it on. Good look and good health Keep smoking.

I have no wisdom for you on the brinkmann electric , but I bet the temp is pretty easy to control
( unlike the charcoal version)
But I will welcome you to the forum , one old guy to another. :grilling_smilie:
