Hey I'm Derek I'm 23 live in oak harbor wa really big In to fishing and smoking my fish I have a propane smoker that likes to give me problems with my fish it cooks more then smokes and I'm looking for advice and know how knowledge on how to build a smoker with little to no cost but supplies and I want it outta wood except for the pan and what not anyways I'll stop ranting but hello all and please do give me chance to learn about smoking and how to get better thanks

Hello Derek and welcome to the forums!  You've found the best place I know for sharing ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  There are plenty of friendly, knowledgeable folks here who really enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input here, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.  Good luck with your build project!

Hey all just wondering but my propain smoker isn't smoking as well as it should be with chips chunks or shaving should I spend the money to try pellets to try and get more smoke or is their anything else I should try???
