Hi All,
I'm from CO, work in IT, and just starting to explore meat smoking.
The equipment is a Char-Broil Electric Smoker.

Good morning and welcome to the forum from a nice warm and windy day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about everything.

Hi There, I too am from Colorado in the Ken Caryl area of far west Denver at 5800 ft. elevation. My smoker is a small 14 year old offset charcoal by New Braunfels. You will turn out some amazing BBQ here. It seems to me that smoking works differently that it did in Houston. I suspect the altitude and dryness have something to do with it. I have not gotten any confirmation and it could be the operator of the smoker.

Anyway, glad to see you. Good luck.

Cliff
