new smoker

  1. Hi, jason from New Orleans. First time smoker here. Trying a pork shoulder for pulled pork. Hope it's great

  4. Yea, every time I searched the internet about smoking, it brought me to this website. Thought it was very informational.
     
  5. Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
    About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
    and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
    We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
    Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
    because their are so many different ways to make great Q...

  7. Pulled pork was awesome guys. Sorry I didn't take a picture, I was to anxious to eat it. However, after 4 hours in the smoker, i removed it and set it in then oven under foil at 275° for 50 minutes. It was delicious.
    NOW HAVE TO FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO SMOKE.
