  1. Good morning from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Found this site googling info for my first smoked turkey this weekend. Got a Masterbuilt 30" electric for Christmas and loving it. Think I have a pretty good bead on brisket and pork but the first rib foray wasn't good (I'm blaming the meat!). Ordered Jeff's rub recipe and can't wait to try that.

Welcome aboard neighbor, from another Oklahoman!  You'll like this community...some friendly folks here who know their stuff and enjoy sharing ideas on all things smoked.  Just ask when you have questions...someone around here will surely be able to help.
