Hello All,

My name is Eddy and I stumbled upon this forum while looking for smoking ideas and products.

A little about me:

I'm retired from the Navy and have lived around the world and the US.  My father got me started on smoking foods indirectly in the 60's and I've just always enjoyed cooking that way.  I currently use 2 22.5" Weber kettles and a Weber Ranch Kettle.  I'm looking at the Primo oval grill as a possible addition to my webers.

I've become more involved with the low and slow by becoming a KCBS certified judge and attending a few competitions.  I usually cook a little bit hotter (between 275-300).  I was accepted by the "Who are Those Guys" BBQ team and they've let me experience that side of the competitions a couple of times.

I've always been involved in customer service and I've worked retail off and on throughout my career.  I enjoy helping people find what they need/want and not trying to sell them something they don't need just because its more expensive. (Not real popular with the civilian corporate culture).

I am in the process of opening a BBQ Supply retail store in McDonough, GA.  I love finding things dealing with smoking/bbq and there just aren't enough retail stores around.

I am looking forward to following this forum and learning things I can use and pass on.
