first i would like to say thanks! because i have been reading here for about 2 months gaining some smoker smarts before even thinking of joining (never even thought of joining).

live in south alabama

just bought a mes 30 after doing the "what's the best for what im doing and what i need" scenario in my head over and over. then checked here and was convinced.

never smoked before now. read so many threads on the forum before i started so i would have some idea of what i was doing. it must have worked or it has been beginners luck!

im hooked! i have smoked several pork picnics, chickens, and just tried my hand at bricket (that was scary to try but had no problem at all and i do have pics of that 1!)

so anyway thanks again for all the help that you arent aware that you have given a total newb!!
