Hey everybody, I'm from South Louisiana and just found this forum. I've been smoking meats for a few years and thoroughly enjoy picking up new tips and ideas from others so I am really excited to have stumbled on this forum. I have a WSM and a MES that I put to good use. What brought me here is that I am interested in a new venture...making jerky. I haven't purchased anything yet at all. I have seen that jerky can be made in a smoker and if I go that route, I'd rather use my MES. I would greatly appreciate anyone that could point me in the right direction on where I can find information or tap into the expertise available on this forum.
