Nice work! From the pics the firebox seems to be placed kinda high in the smoke chamber. What is the overall plan?
Can't wait to see the final photos. Nice job so far!
Love the handles.
It's awesome so far, your very creative!
Man thats looking sweet
I'd have to agree with this observation. Are you doing a Reverse flow? Looks like the top of the box is even with your cook grates. Just wondering what your plan is to control heat and airflow.
By the way, welcome to SMF. I grew up not far from you in Kewanee, the hog capital of the world (go figure).
No it's not a reverse flow, tho box is mounted that high because I need the ground clearance on the trailer. The hole between the fire box and the smoker bottle is as low as it can be and it is not a very big opening. I test fired the smoker a couple of week ago and it went very well. As it turns out i made the fire box too big but oh well.
Thanks for looking,
Now that is gonna be a beautiful smoker. I can't wait to see the finished product. I love the batts
It looks amazing love the idea of the handle
There is no such thing as too big.
Hey. I like it. Bigger is better. Where did you get the flames?
Thanks, I had a local guy with a CNC Plasma cut them out for me. He does some awesome stuff.
Thanks for the pictures can't wait to see the finished product !!!!!!!!
