Hello everyone, glad to be part of this group to help out all the meat eaters of the world. I'm in Va. on east coast of US. I have a Brinkman charcoal smoker my wife bought me for Christmas. I had been doing some reading some about smoking since I love grilling on my grill so I converted my smoker over to electric. I wanted to be able to maintain an even cooking temp. Don't want to take anything away from all the charcoal smokers, but that is a lot of work to keep even temps. I am still new to the smoker and have smoked and eaten several Chicken leg quarters. My next project is a pork shoulder. Can't wait to get started.....
