So I ran my first smoke this past weekend through my new Dyno glo vertical smoker.

I have some leaks but not as bad as I was expecting which is good. I've picked up this product to seal the CC door. good up to 800Degrees.

I'm told the CC needs at least 500 degrees and the FB needs 2,000 degrees. Is that right? I am searching for the gasket for the FB.  Any suggestions?

I also had a leak where my FB connects to the CC. Should I try to disassemble it then caulk it or add a gasket between the 2 or should I try to caulk it already connected? Trying to caulk it as is doesn't sound right to me. I think disassembling makes more sense.

If I do, is there anything that I need to know so that it reassembles as tight as it is right now?

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
