Just purchased a Weber 18.5 Kettle for $10 on CL and can't wait to get started.

Going grocery shopping this weekend and should have some pics next week.

I am a total newbie, but with the info that I have read do far on this forum, I feel confident.

Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

Right now Chicken quarters and spare ribs are on sale so that what i''m probably going to buy.

FYI: doctor put me on a controlled carbohydrate (low carb) if anyone is following a similar diet and has any tips, please let me know.

Thanks!

.You asked for suggestions, well play with your Weber so you really know it,and the first few smokes, don't get too ambitious.Stick with Chix, whole and cut(if you like Chicken that much)and graduate to more challenging meats. You should be doing good on your Weber, they are great for starters.

      Have fun and.................
